Countdown: 15 days
Since I have been home, I have turned into a 1950s housewife. I'm not even kidding. This is what my day typically looks like:
Wake up/Get dressed
Have breakfast while reading a book
Clean a room in the house (typically one that everyone uses)
Bake something
Clean another room in the house (my own or a bathroom)
Watch TV or read more of a book
Begin making dinner so it will be ready shortly after the working folk who live here get home
Eat said dinner
Watch TV or a movie with my family while knitting
How ridiculous is that? Sometimes, I'll have a coffee date or something of that nature, but I'll still get all of that stuff done. Don't get me wrong, I love being accomplished, but it is so monotonous! I do basically the same thing every day, and I just cannot wait to have things on my To Do list like "Buy train tickets to Grenoble" or "Bike around town to find good coffee shop" or, of course, "Plan with Matthias when to get into London". Last night, we watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I am getting so excited for the 7th movie! And the best part? I'm going to visit Matthias in London that weekend and we're going to see it together. It's combining some of my favorite things: My brother, Travel, and Harry Potter. It's unfortunate that I have to wait until November for that trip, but it'll be worth it!
